25 January, 1919: 97 ago the League of Nations was founded.

18 January, 1919: 97 years ago the Paris Peace Conference commenced at the Quai D'Orsay in the Salle d'Horloge!
It was exactly 48 years after the united German princes had proclaimed William, King of Prussia, the Emperor of the Germans in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles

16 January, 1919: The Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, authorizing Prohibition, is ratified. It is also valid for our conference!

Congratulations! Pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski becomes the second Prime Minister of Poland. His first important task is to attend the Paris Peace Conference of course!
